CZECH PHOTOGRAPHER: Taras Kuščynskyj

Taras  Kuščynskyj. I first heard that name of genius Czech photographer whose main theme of his photos is woman from my special friend George. A few weeks ago he attended a photography exhibition of that at Old Town Hall, Prague, Arcade Gallery. He bought two postcards of Taras' photos there and send them to me. I received them after my Mom handovered them to me on my visit to her on last weekend.

z cyklu CHCI - DANA (1972)

The photo above is my most favorite one among any other photographs of Taras (I've ever seen by googling). I love the lines from Taras that George put on the back of this photo.

Zhmotňuji ho a vytvářím prostor klidu.

For me, to photograph is to live...
I want to create new beauty.
I wish to capture feeling,
almost invisible moments we all experience:
a feeling, desire, a dream.
I want to depict life, whose bearer is woman.
I seek and wait for those rare moments
when there's eternity in a woman's eyes.
The most beautiful gift of nature is Love -
and Love is longing for Beauty
